I’m back! I have been laying low key lately with the not-so-spring weather here in New York and saving my pennies (literally) for my trip to my favorite vaca spot, Viva Las Vegas! What happens in Vegas doesn’t always have to stay in Vegas, does it? So let me fill you in on one of my many thrilling experiences during my four day getaway with my handsome boyfriend (who was lucky enough to celebrate his 26th birthday in 90 degree weather).
With the most breathtaking view of Sin City and all of its lights, join a group of your friends, step into the capsule, and enjoy a half hour rotation overlooking all there is to see of the Las Vegas Boulevard. Located at The Linq Hotel is the world’s tallest Ferris wheel standing 550 feet known as “The High Roller.” At an extremely reasonable price of only $30 (which came as a package deal where we got to ride the High Roller Ferris wheel as well as participate in the Eiffel Tower Experience at the Paris Hotel, which I’ll post about later) we got to have a romantic ride above the city. It was one of the most beautiful sites I’ve ever seen. Up the in capsule viewing the city which is typically full of gambling and hangovers was actually one of the most peaceful, most relaxing, and most aw-struck moments in Vegas I’ve ever had, besides laying poolside next to palm trees and waterfalls sipping on a Corona with lime in one hand and my newest Mary Higgins Clark book in the other hand of course.
