Celebrate Good Times…Like Meeting Lauren Conrad

Lauren Conrad

Meeting my fashion idol is a cause to Celebrate! Yesterday I waited in line at the #LCCelebrate book launch at Barnes n’ Noble on Warren Street in NYC to meet Lauren Conrad. It was a fashion girl’s dream come true! I’ve been a fan of Lauren Conrad since her days on reality TV with “Laguna Beach” and “The Hills.” It was really exciting to have the chance to not only have her sign my book “Celebrate,” but also to have a one-on-one conversation with her. I had the chance to tell Lauren how she is the person who inspired me to pursue a career in fashion, that I currently work for Kleinfeld Bridal (where she asked if I get to play with crowns and tiaras all day), and that I started my own blog (she even took my blogging business card AND totally liked my tweet today)! Lauren is truly the most beautiful person inside and out!

The “Lauren Conrad Celebrate” book was officially released today where Lauren discusses her love for celebrating and how to plan the perfect party from planning the guest list to prepping the proper food and pouring the most delicious drinks to floral arrangements right down to the fabulous party outfit. Speaking of the perfect party outfit, Lauren also  launched the new #LCLaurenConrad Celebrate Collection today at Kohls where she has outfits for all sorts of soirees including birthday celebrations, engagements parties, and wedding receptions. She truly does know how to dress for a party; I even wore a red polka dots fit and flare dress from her Disney’s Minnie Rocks the Dots Collection to celebrate my 25th birthday this year!

With that said, I’m headed to Kohls.com right now to shop the new #LCLaurenConrad Celebrate Collection because when am I not in need of a new outfit?! Follow her on the Lauren Conrad website for all of the latest fashion and party updates! ( I also think it’s time for me to finally throw my house warming party for my new apartment that is long overdue now that I have all of the essential party planning information at the tip of my fingers thanks to “Celebrate!”)
