Are you a believer? I like to explore every aspect of New York City from the hole in the wall restaurants to celebrity spottings to museums, even the wackiest and craziest of the museums: Ripley’s Believe it or Not! Located in Times Square, Ripley’s Believe it or Not is a cheap (20% of when tickets are purchase online!) and interactive adventure for friends or family.
At Ripley’s I had the chance to walk through a spinning vortex tunnel, make acquaintances with the bearded lady, and see animals with two heads. Believe it or not… they even have live hissing cockroaches where you can put your head in their tank (talk about too interactive). They also have less gross adventures there as well like playing detective trying to find the hidden doorway into the next room, the world’s largest shrunken head collection, and hanging out with the tallest man in the world.
I don’t want to give away all of the secrets of the exhibits, but this was an unbelievable experience.. minus the roller skating, rat holding creepy man who posted up outside of Ripley’s.. that I could’ve done without. Anyways, don’t forget to rub the lucky Buddha made of a million shredded dollars on your way out too (however I’m still waiting to strike it rich)!
